Anger Management is a process that involves education on the nature of anger and the harmful relationship and lifestyle effects that excessive anger causes. The objective of Anger Management is to learn new coping strategies and techniques in order to manage anger in healthier ways.

The 6-session Anger Management course focuses on changing behaviours and building coping skills through a cognitive restructuring approach. It explores anger, looks at myths surrounding anger whilst examining the link between our thinking and our behaviour. It explores how anger manifests its way into our lives, the patterns it assumes once it becomes set, and delves deep to understand our anger warning signs and triggers. The effect on relationships is considered, as are the powerful tools of communication, forgiveness and empathy. Throughout the course practical strategies to cope are offered with examples. These are the tools that create change.

The 6-session course is designed around a self-paced learning model, which means that you determine the pace and timing of the content delivery. You control when, for how long, and where you study. Self-paced learning makes the material accessible, whilst allowing you the freedom and flexibility to study at your own pace.

Yes, you will receive a certificate of completion once you have completed the final lesson in the course. You will be able to print and download the certificate at the end of the course. This certificate will be emailed to you automatically.

The Anger Management Course is certified in that it is written and administered by qualified anger management specialists who are trained counselors and psychotherapists. The courts recognise the validity of the course due to its content and behavioural change and skills building approach.
